Step 01Calibration Grid Console

For best results, sweep your most iridescent laser setting across fill intervals and engraving angles while preserving its selected LightBurn parameters.

Step 02Finished Grid Capture

Laser the downloaded grid, photograph it, then align the four green corners. The numbered perspective overlay identifies the cell represented by each measured fauxlographic swatch. The photograph stays in this browser.

Step 03Fauxlographic Swatch Measurement Console

Review sampled colors, remove weak or unwanted cells, give useful fauxlographic swatches memorable names, then save them as a Fauxlographic Swatch Palette.

Step 04Create Fauxlographic Artwork

Run a Rasterizer job using the Fauxlographic Palette you just created. The Rasterizer will select its measured swatches and show the Fauxlographic Etching controls in place of the normal image-style controls.
