MOPA Laser Artwork Workflow
The app prepares projects; successful physical results still require machine-specific testing and operator judgment.
Prepare
Use known material, clean artwork, a reviewed Material Library, and processing dimensions appropriate to the final size.
Inspect
Open every generated project in LightBurn and verify geometry, bounds, layers, device assignment, and all laser parameters.
Test
Run small coupons before valuable work. Observe heat accumulation, warping, smoke, color consistency, and whether the result remains within machine and material limits.
Operate safely
Use suitable extraction, guarding, eye protection, supervision, and fire precautions. Follow the laser manufacturer and material supplier guidance.
